DJI announced the debut of their new enterprise drone family at the recent DJI Enterprise live event: the DJI Matrice M30.
DJI’s new M30 backpack drone is the manufacturer’s flagship model. It combines numerous high-performance sensors into a single camera payload, is operated by an inventive redesigned remote control, and is powered by improved Pilot 2 software, considerably improving the flight experience. The M30 variant has significantly more power, endurance, and capabilities than even the best camera drones for tough professional applications, but its compact size enables easy transit and setup.
Apart from its exceptional performance and innovative format, the DJI M30 enables professionals to fly and perform in environments other than their immediate surroundings. It seamlessly connects with DJI’s new FlightHub 2 fleet management cloud-based software and the DJI Dock for remote and unattended operations, delivering efficiency and innovation to a variety of sectors.
The Matrice series is available in two flavors: M30 and M30T. The M30 variant features a 48MP 1/2″ CMOS sensor zoom camera with 516 optical and 200 digital zoom, a 12MP wide-angle camera with 8K photo / 4K 30 fps video quality, and a laser rangefinder that can precisely locate objects up to 1,200 meters away. The M30T includes an extra radiometric thermal camera with a resolution of 640×512 pixels.
